J.Conferencia plenaria en el VIII Seminario Interuniversitario de Investigación en Tecnología Educativa (SIITE 2021) organizado por el grupo de investigación ARGET del Departamento de Pedagogía y el equipo docente del Máster y Doctorado Interuniversitario en Tecnología Educativa (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de les Illes Balears y Universidad de Murcia). Este seminario fue inicialmente pensado para su celebración en la Universitat Rovira i Virgili en Tarragona, pero por las limitaciones de movilidad por la pandemia de la COVID-19 se celebró online el 29 de enero de 2021. Se pone de manifiesto la importancia de la Ciencia Abierta y la colaboración internacional en los procesos de investigación, lo que se ha hecho más evidente si cabe en los tiempos marcados por la COVID-19. Como ejemplo de esto se toman como referente algunas iniciativas en las que el grupo GRIAL de la Universidad de Salamanca se ve directamente involucrado, como son la Red Openergy, el Programa de Doctorado Formación en la Sociedad del Conocimiento, y los proyectos europeos W-STEM, RoboSTEAM, OpenGame y WYRED.Item Delphi study to identify the young people priorities about digital society(ACM, 2018-10-24) Rodríguez-Conde, M. J.This paper aims to present an advance of the results of the application of the Delphi technique, with the aim of gathering the opinion of experts or stakeholders on the topics of priority interest of young people in Europe, especially on the digital society. It is a work framed within the Horizon 2020 WYRED Project (netWorked Youth Research for Empowerment in the Digital Society). !e WYRED project, and in this specific case the Networking process, aims in bringing together children, young people, other stakeholders and policymakers around Europe. !e Delphi technique is one of the prospective methods that study the future, concerning the evolution of the factors of the techno-socio-economic environment and the interactions between these factors. !e characteristics that define this technique are anonymity, iteration and controlled feedback, and presentation of group data in the statistical form. !e progress of the presented results allows us to corroborate the agreement of experts about the topics that have been raised. According to experts, the concern of youth towards issues related to the digital society does not appear among the first concerns of young people neither in Spain nor the rest of the countries surveyed.Item STEM policies at the University of Salamanca(Grupo GRIAL, 2019-11-15) García-Peñalvo, F. Entre esas competencias se encuentra la de la comunicación en idiomas extranjeros, cuya adquisición es una de las razones principales para la implementación de la metodología CLIL (aprendizaje integrado de contenido y lengua extranjera). Este método se alía inesperadamente con el interés principal de este proyecto, permitiendo así el trabajo grupal y la necesidad de que los estudiantes se apropien de su propia contribución a la comunidad (plataforma colaborativa), en otras palabras, se observa como la serendipia, es decir, la posibilidad de hacer al azar descubrimientos inesperados y afortunados mientras se busca otra cosa, nos presenta un sin fin de oportunidades que ofrecen la integración entre las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y el método CLIL. Es así como este proyecto, a través de un diseño de estudio de caso, pretende demostrar el impacto que provee la interacción en plataformas colaborativas, influyendo en el aumento de la motivación por el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en este caso de once participantes adolescentes pertenecientes a una academia de inglés. El análisis cualitativo de los datos indicó que la telecolaboración fomenta y contribuye no solo al desarrollo del aprendizaje del inglés sino también al aprendizaje de las mismas competencias y habilidades digitales.Item Estereotipos de género en la Red. J.Today we live in a technological world and in a digital society. Technology is everywhere and we may face very complex problems because of we have the support of a high-level technological infrastructure (Etzkowitz & Leydesdorff, 1997; Fidalgo-Blanco, Sein-Echaluce, & García-Peñalvo, 2015; García-Peñalvo, 2016a). Thus, it is true that at the present, when we talk about technology, we talk about the revolution. Nobody is oblivious to that social revolution that comes from the hand of technology. The advances occur so quickly, that we are training the generation of the future with knowledge and practices of the past in a present in which many people are already overwhelmed by the context of the informatics and communications. Nevertheless, researchers related to the technological areas try to advance and create more knowledge in their specific areas and all of them have in mind a utopia, because of from the philosophical part of their work, a revolution that does not pursue a utopia is useless.Item University of Salamanca is no place (only) for humanities. Actualmente, va camino de culminar su primer año vida, construyendo una aproximación diferente en la investigación en Ciencias Sociales, con un enfoque propio de ciertas áreas de la ciencia abierta como son la ciencia de las masas, la ciencia ciudadana, o la ciencia conectada a una red.Item Presentation of the paper “An architectural proposal to explore the data of a private community through visual analytic”(Grupo GRIAL, 2017-10-19) Durán-Escudero, J.This is the presentation of the paper entitled “An architectural proposal to explore the data of a private community through visual analytic” in the Learning Analytics Track of the TEEM 2017 International Conference held in Cádiz (Spain) in October 18-20, 2017. In this document, a proposal is made to study the data that will be generated in the private and anonymous community of the WYRED project, in order to extract knowledge about how their users interact, both between them, and with the platform. To do this, it is started with the creation of a system that will generate a set of test data, as close as possible to the original. With this information and considering the impact of privacy when dealing with the data of the project, a flexible and complete architecture has been proposed for the development of interactive visualizations that will allow to visualize the previously generated data. Finally, a use case is presented where the suitability of the visual analytic is demonstrated to perform analysis of the data of the project and to extract knowledge, in a simple way.
